Mildred Annette Neagle, age 63, of Rutledge, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in the Scotland county Hospital in Memphis, Missouri.

Born on June 29, 1955, in Kirksville, Missouri, Annette was the daughter of Eldon Jewel and Barbara Jane Shultz.  She was united in marriage to David Marion Neagle, on July 26, 1986, in Hurdland, Missouri.

Annette graduated from Knox County High School in Edina, Missouri, and graduated from Kirksville Area Vocational School with and Licensed Practical Nurse Degree.   She was employed at Cross Point in Edina for several years and Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville for 19 years.  She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her granddaughter, family and friends.  She was a member of the Rutledge Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband David Neagle of Rutledge, Missouri; her mother, Barbara Ewalt of Edina, Missouri; two children, Nickie Renee (Cory) Burdette of Indianola, Iowa, and Matthew Jason (Misty) Neagle of Edina, Missouri; a sister, Barbara Jeanette (Wendell) Doss of Baring, Missouri; a brother, Freddie (Carol) Ewalt of Leesburg, Florida; one granddaughter, Elena Marie Neagle; a cousin, Dr. Rebecca Jane Woodard of Quincy, Illinois; two nieces and one nephew, Amy Easley, Tyler Doss and Katie Love; and one great niece, Sophie Easley.

Annette was preceded in death by her father; her son, Michael David Neagle; her step-father, John Ewalt; her grandparents; and her mother and father-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri, with Reverend Kenneth Rush officiating for the services.  Musical selections will be “Hope You Dance” and “Shameless”.

Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Hurdland, Missouri, with Brian Easley, Bryan Burns, Martin Edwards, Tommy Harsell, Ernie Klataske and Travis Bruns as casket bearers.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 27, 2018, from 1 p.m. till time of services at 2 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
