KCAC Planning Knox County Talent Show

The Knox County Awareness Coalition (KCAC) is calling on Knox County to showcase their talents on stage.

An event called “Knox County’s Got Talent” is planned for Tuesday evening, March 13, 2018 at the Knox County High School Gymnasium. The deadline to register to be in the show is February 28.

KCAC has opened this event to all ages and organizers are hoping for a wide variety of talents. Anyone in Knox County is invited to be part of the show.

According to co-organizer Kisha Goodwin, the talent show is open to anything anyone can think of. Singers, dancers, musicians, magic acts, clowns, lip singers, comedians, poets, short film makers, thespians, and more.

Cash or gift card prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners and food will be served during the event, which KCAC is still working out the details for.

Students interested in signing up to be in the show can at the KCHS office. Community members can sign up by calling (660)397-2285 ext. 201.

The community is invited to come out and enjoy the show at an admission price of only $1.

There’s plenty of time to get an act or performance together. Everyone is welcome to enjoy being part of or watching the show.

Watch for more information in the newspaper, details about food and times as the talent show approaches.
