Felony Arrests Made

 

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Joseph Duane Leeper Sr, age 42 of Kahoka, Clark County, Missouri. Leeper was arrested on four felonies, Burglary 2nd degree, receiving stolen property,   Possession of a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia (Methamphetamine).

On February 1, 2018, at 1556 hours, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence located at 287 East Exchange Street in Kahoka, Clark County, Missouri.

During the search of the property items reported stolen from a residence in Clark County Missouri was located and collected as evidence.   Deputies also located and collected as evidence a controlled substance (Methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia (Methamphetamine).

Joseph Duane Leeper Sr was placed under arrest at 1713 hours, and transported to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office where he was booked into the Clark County Detention Center. Leeper is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center on a $10,000.00 cash only bond.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

 

IN A RELATED CASE:

 

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Laurie Jo Elder, age 53 of Wyaconda, Clark County, Missouri. Elder was arrested on two felonies, Burglary 2nd degree and receiving stolen property.

On February 1, 2018, at 1820 hours, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the following address RR 1 Box 1125 Wyaconda, Clark County, Missouri.

While searching the property items reported stolen from a residence in Clark County Missouri was located and collected as evidence.

Laurie Jo Elder was arrested and is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center on a $10,000.00 cash only bond.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
