2013 Knox County Softball Tournament Schedule

2013 Knox County Softball Tournament Bracket Released

Scotland County was seeded first in the September 7, 2013 Knox County Softball Tournament. South Shelby was the second seed, followed by Knox County, Canton, Kirksville JV, Brashear, Marion County and Paris.

The Knox County Softball Tournament will begin at 9AM. Contests will be held on the Knox County Softball Field behind the school complex East of Edina. Games will be held at Pauline Campbell Field in Edina, referred to as the Town Field on the bracket.

First round action will see Scotland County challenge Paris on the Town Field and Knox County will tangle with Brashear on the KCHS Field at 9AM. Canton and Kirksville JV play on the Town field at 10:30AM. South Shelby and Marion County play on the KCHS Field, completing first round play at 10:30 AM.

Consolation semi-final play will begin at noon on both fields. Teams will remain at the field where they played their first game. Championship semi-final action  starts at 1:30PM.

The KC Tournament consolation championship game is at 3PM on the KCHS Field. Seventh place will be decided on the Town Field also at 3PM. The third place game has a 4:30PM scheduled first pitch on the Town Field. The championship game will be held on the KCHS Field at 4:30PM.

Knox County has won their tournament a school record three consecutive seasons.
