DENNIS E. BAYLES

Dennis Eugene Bayles, 55, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born March 24, 1954, in Macomb, Ill., a son of Robert D. and Vada Carder Bayles. He was a 1972 graduate of Knox County R-I High School. Dennis was a plumber for many years, working for Balkenbush Mechanical the past five years. He was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #414 and a Shriner, was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman who spent every free moment on the Osage River with his family and friends, enjoyed spending time with his dogs Bobber and Spinner.
On July 2, 1988, Dennis was united in marriage to Laurel Henderson, who survives at their home.
Other survivors include his mother, Vada Grainger of Knox City; one daughter, Kyane Marble and husband Tony of Edina; three step-daughters, Amber Wilde and husband Mark of Westphalia, Arin VanLoo and husband Daniel of Wardsville, and Brandi Bloomer of Jefferson City; three brothers, Daniel Bayles and wife Ann of Moberly, Michael Bayles and wife Kathy of Quincy, Ill., and Mark Bayles and wife Mary of St. Louis; and five grandchildren, Tanner Marble, Carter Marble, Briar Bloomer, Warren Wilde and Nevin Wilde.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bayles on May 30, 1960, and his stepfather, Robert Grainger.
Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where a memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Private family interment will be held.
