211th Engineer Company Uses Valuable Tool in Afghanistan
Soldiers with the South Dakota National Guard 211th Engineer Company are now using a valuable tool in the war against improvised explosive devices, or IEDs.
The Engineer Company uses a TALON robot. The robot is a battery powered, track-based mobile platform that has been designed for irregular and challenging terrain. The following video, by 1st Lt.
