Clark County School Bond Issue Passes

Clark County voters approved an $8 million dollar no-tax-increase bond issue at the polls on Tuesday, April 4. By a margin of 814-505, or 61.71%, voters approved borrowing the money for a list of facility and security improvements. The vote required 4/7ths of the total voters to pass.

"I'm excited," said Clark County R-1 School District Superintendent Ritchie Kracht. "We're going to see a lot of good things for our students and their education and safety."

Kracht added that a lot of people worked hard for the issue.
