JERRY LEE BISHOP

Jerry Bishop  Jerry Lee Bishop, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

Jerry an Arizona native, was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on September 28, 1965 to Dan and Judy Bishop.

Jerry attended St. Agnes Grade School, and at various times, St. Mary’s High School and Camelback High School.  He graduated from Wyaconda High School in Wyaconda, Missouri.  After high school, Jerry joined the Army where he remained for seven years as Sergeant while being stationed in Lawton, Oklahoma, and Wiesbaden, Germany.  Jerry was a landscaper for many years, but in all reality Jerry was a Jack-of-all-trades and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do.  There are several activities that Jerry really loved with the top four being fishing, biking, barbecuing and sleeping.  Jerry loved a good nap.  Jerry was taken from this earth way too soon, but his light will shine on in all of those that loved him.  Jerry will truly be missed and will never be forgotten. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and friend to all who knew and loved him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Judy Bishop and brother, Chris Bishop.

Jerry leaves behind his son, Cody Daniel Bishop (Stephanie Guaderrama); granddaughter, Emma Mae Bishop; best friend and ex-wife, Shirley Consiglio Bishop; father, Daniel Glenn Bishop and step-mother, Judi Bishop; sister, Laurie Ann Bishop; and countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 10, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85018.
