Elaine Agnes “Bobbie” Bearden

Elaine BeardenElaine Agnes “Bobbie” Bearden, age 79, of LaBelle, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015, in the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois. She was born August 28, 1935, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harry Beale and Helen Gertrude Miscovich Hillen.

She was united in marriage to Alvin Eugene Bearden on March 10, 1963, in San Diego, California.

Surviving are her husband, Alvin Eugene Bearden of LaBelle, Missouri; two daughters, Teresa Annette Fox of Kahoka, Missouri, and Denise Marie Cohen of Columbia, Missouri; two sisters Betty Burke of Temtucla, California, and Nellie Cochlin of Chula Vista, California; four grandchildren, Stacey Fletcher and Daniel, William Cohen, Heather Magruder and Josh, Ronnie D. Fox III, one great grandchild, Ryan Murry, brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald Bearden, Glenda Bearden and Etta Bearden, all of California, Sandy Robinson and David of Oregon, James Bearden and Karen of Oklahoma, several nieces and nephews. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law, Bessie and William Henry Bearden, one granddaughter Katerina Bearden, two brothers Cecil and Billy Bearden and a sister-in-law Sissy Bearden.  Bobbie received her education in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. She was a military wife and traveled all over with her husband.

Since 1987, she and her husband have resided in the LaBelle community. She was a Girl Scout leader, and enjoyed ceramics, cake decorating, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 28, 2015, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri with Reverend Shawn McAfee officiating the services.    Musical selections will be I Did It My Way, I Can Only Imagine, Old Rugged Cross and Wind Beneath My Wings.  Casket bearers were William Cohen, Ronnie Fox III, Josh Magruder, Robbie Walters, Greg Walker and Adam Cramsey.  Burial was in the LaBelle Cemetery.
