Donna J. Dilligard, age 56, of Canton, MO, died Saturday, November 9, 2013, at her home in Canton, MO. She was born January 4, 1957, in Kirksville, MO the daughter of Robert S. Clay and Zonia Ann Perkins Clay. She was united in marriage to Michael Leon Dilligard on August 21, 1982, in LaBelle,

Surviving are her husband Michael Leon Dilligard of Canton, MO, her mother Zonia Clay of LaBelle, MO, two sons Marcus Leon Dilligard and wife Kristin and their son Aziah Kaylon Dilligard of Charlotte, N.C., Gregory Eugene Dilligard of Canton, MO, one daughter Phylicia Nicole Manley of Quincy, IL, one brother Robert Kyle Clay and wife Elizabeth of LaBelle, MO, one sister Patricia Sanchez and husband Aldeberto of Hollywood, FL, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donna was preceded in death by her father.
Donna graduated from Highland High School, Moberly Area Community College and attended Northeast Missouri State University now Truman State University in Kirksville, MO.
Donna was a teacher at Highland Elementary School at Ewing, MO for over fifteen years. She loved working with kids, loved track and field, going to basketball games, traveling and history and spending time with family and friends especially her grandson. Donna was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church of LaBelle.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, in the Highland Elementary School. Pastor James Salter officiated at the services. Burial was in the LaBelle Cemetery.
Music, obituary and condolences were given by Ottie Lewis and a special reading by Phylicia Nicole Manley.
Casket bearers were Michael Leon Dilligard, Marcus Leon Dilligard, John Green, Robert Kyle Clay, Dan Simmons and Darin Marshall.
Honorary bearers were Eric Lewis, Kendall Feldkamp, Dr. Gene Childress, Brad Gunlock and John Steinbeck.
