Heidi Ann Parrish, daughter of Ben and Georgia (Tesinsky) Comer, was born on March 17, 1972 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Davis County High School in 1990. On September 18, 1993, Heidi was united in marriage to Stephen Parrish in Floris, Iowa. To this union three children were born, Dalton, Shelby and Chance. Heidi worked at Vermeer Manufacturing in Pella for 15 years until her health forced her to retire. She enjoys scrapbooking, motorcycle rides, buying shoes and spending time with her children. Heidi was an avid reader and above all loved spending time with her friends.
Her memory will be honored by her husband of nearly 20 years, Stephen Parrish of New Sharon; her children, Shelby and Chance Parrish both of New Sharon; her parents, Ben and Georgia Comer of Bloomfield; her sister, Tina (Joe) Chidester of New Sharon; her maternal grandmother, Irene Anfinson; her father and mother-in-law, Alvie and Donna Parrish of Novelty, MO, a brother-in-law, Jim Parrish; two sisters-in-law, Marsha Wolf and Anita James and many other relatives and friends.
Heidi was preceded in death by a son in infancy, Dalton Parrish; her paternal grandparents, Ray and Erma Comer and her maternal grandfather, George Tesinsky
Funeral services were 1:30 pm Thursday, August 15, 2013 at the New Sharon First Christian Church. Her body was cremated following the service and burial will be held at a later date at Highland Cemetery in New Sharon.
