Donnie Ray Pratt, age 63, of Fenton, MO, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, in St. Louis, MO. He was born August 10, 1949, at Neelyville, MO, the son of George and Mary Kirkwood Pratt. He was united in marriage to Jean Webb.
Surviving are his wife Jean Pratt of Fenton, MO, a daughter Jennifer Kable and husband Blaine of Fenton, MO, a son Rudy Martinez and wife Cheryl of Peoria, IL, grandchildren, Dalton, Kalee and Alison, Krista, Jessica and Amanda. Donnie was a loving brother, brother in law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Donnie served his country in the United States Army from January 27, 1970, to September 27, 1971. He owned and operated his own construction company at Fenton, MO, for the last thirty years. Donnie was also engaged in farming south of Hurdland, MO. Donnie loved helping people in need with his construction business. He loved farming, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, in the Kutis Funeral Home-Affton Chapel in St. Louis, MO. Graveside services were held Sunday, May 26, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Tabor Cemetery south of Hurdland, MO, under the direction of the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
Military Honors were held at the cemetery conducted by the Missouri Military Funeral Honors Team, the Cyril A. Graham American Legion Post # 261, and the Knox County Memorial Post # 4822 V.F.W.
