The Clark County R-1 National Junior Honor Society held a Rock-A-Thon on Friday, January 11 from 2 p.m to 7 p.m. Money raised by the Middle School students was given to the American Cancer Society and the local cancer support group. In one the fundraisers, the students could purchase a 2-foot section of duct tape for $1.00 and use that tape to tape their favorite teacher to the wall. Middle School Science and Communication Arts teacher Mrs. Katrina Nixon received 220 foot of duct tape and it was enough to hang her on the wall.
