Arrest Made in Stabbing

The Clark County Sheriffs Office reports the arrest of Caleb E. Goldie age 34 of RR1 Canton, MO.  A warrant was issued on January 10, 2013 at 508pm for the arrest of Caleb Goldie for 1st degree assault, a class A Felony and Armed Criminal Action , a nonclassified Felony.  He is being detained at the Clark County Detention Center on a $75,000 cash only bond.

On Wednesday January 9, at approximately 8:20pm the Clark County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a fire at Goldie’s Sawmill just south of Wayland, MO.  When   fire personnel arrived the mill was completely engulfed in flames.  Wayland, Clark County and Alexandria Fire assisted with the call.  No other details are available until we receive more information from the State Fire Marshalls Office.

At  approximately 8:45 while on the scene the fire department requested an ambulance to the scene.  At this time there was a stabbing and two people were taken to the hospital.  Until further investigation of the incident to determine if it was self defense or assault no further information is available. Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Clark County Ambulance, and the Wayland Emergency Medical Responders,   assisted in the incident.
