Fire destroyed the Kris Courtney residence on Tuesday afternoon, August 7.
Around 4:20pm, firefighters from the Revere Fire Department and the Clark County Rural Fire Department responded to a call of a fire on Route NN north of Kahoka. The home appeared to be a total loss.
The Wayland Fire Department also provided tanker support for the effort.
Firefighters from the Revere and Clark County Fire Departments battled the afternoon blaze .
