Charles Edward Christopher age 65 of Knox City, Missouri died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at his daughter’s home in Foristell, Missouri.
Born October 21, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri he was the son of Joseph Marion and Kathryn Louise Elliott Christopher who preceded him in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Jeanna Twellman and her husband, Kevin of Foristell, Missouri and Stephanie Orf and her husband, Dan also of Foristell, Missouri; three grandchildren, Tori Orf, Jake Orf and Brooke Twellman; three brothers; Ronnie Christopher of Montrose, Iowa, Joe Christopher and his wife, Virginia “Ginny” of Oak Grove, Missouri and Jim “Duke” Christopher of Cedar Hill, Missouri; his best friend, Tom Winters of High Ridge, Missouri and dear friends, The Hackamack Family.
Charles was a service manager and mechanic for an automobile dealership in Wentzville, Missouri where he resided for twenty years. For the past six years he has made his home in Knox City, Missouri. Charles was an outdoorsman; he was a very avid hunter in every way and enjoyed being the camp cook, which he was very good at. He loved being with friends and especially his family.
Funeral service were held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri. Reverend Tim Smith officiated the services. Burial was in the LaBelle Cemetery, LaBelle, Missouri. Family and friends were casket bearers.
