The Canton Tigers raced to an early lead over the Clark County Indians Friday night, and never gave up that lead. After trailing 7-0 midway through the first quarter, Ryan Whiston broke the ice and Clark County trailed 15-8 after one quarter. The Tigers slowed the game down in the second, and took a 25-13 lead into the break. The Indians improved in the third quarter, cutting the Tiger lead to only four points 33-29 late in the quarter, but the Indians couldn’t close the deal, and fell behind 39-29 after three quarters. Canton dominated the final quarter, as the Indians fell in their home opener 56-38. Justin Alderton lead the Indians with 15 points. Ryan Whiston and Luke Ross had six each, and Tommy Dever had five points. Jeremy Logsdon, Kyle Kovar and Chase Bevans had two points each.
