GARY L. PARRISH
Gary Lee Parrish, 60, of Novinger, Missouri formerly of the Baring Community, died Friday, October 15, 2010, at the Manor Care Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
He was born on June 21, 1950, the son of Vincent Leroy and Leota Marie Bozarth Parrish.
He attended school in Baring, Missouri before moving to Kirksville to finish his education. Gary worked most of his life in construction in Northeast Missouri.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Kirksville, Missouri.
Gary is survived by three sons, Leroy and his wife Karen Parrish of Greentop, Missouri, Tim and his wife Cindy Parrish of Novinger, Missouri and Michael Parrish of Novinger, Missouri; one daughter, Michelle and her husband Jason Applegate of Purden, Missouri; two brothers, Paul Parrish of Connelsville, Missouri, and Joey Parrish of Greentop, Missouri; two sisters, Margie Penn of Kirksville, Missouri and Barbara Jean and her husband John West of Novinger, Missouri; twelve grandchildren, Christopher and Kesler Parrish; Tyler, Andrew and Ethan Parrish; Dakota, Cheyenne, Autumn and Talon Parrish, and Levi and Logan Vansickle; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Leota Parrish and a brother, Eddie Boyd Parrish.
A graveside service was Sunday, October 17, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery in Edina, Missouri.
