RONALD D. GOODWIN

Ronald Dean Goodwin, age 52, of Knox City, Missouri, died September 17, 2010, at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.


He was born August 17, 1958, at Kirksville, Missouri, the son of Charles Pharris and Julia May Pape Goodwin.


He was united in marriage to Linda Sue Begley at LaBelle, Missouri on January 6, 1978.


Surviving are his wife Linda Sue Goodwin of Knox City, Missouri, his father Charles Goodwin and wife Charlotte on Edina, Missouri, his mother Julia Pape of Knox City, Missouri, four children, Corrina Dawson and husband Tommy of Knox City, Missouri, Andrea Goodwin and friend David Clay of LaBelle, Missouri, Pharris Goodwin and friend Kendra Miller of Knox City, Missouri, and Glen Goodwin and wife Nicole of Knox City, Missouri, three sisters, Anita Browning of Knox City, Missouri, Karen Green and husband Luther of Hurdland, Missouri, and Terrie Jo Clary and husband Dan of Edina, Missouri, one brother Scott Goodwin and wife Nancy of Knox City, Missouri, eight grandchildren, Alexander Dawson, Aaliyah Dawson, Jasmine Smith, Dominic Cottrell, Alexis Goodwin, Caden Goodwin, Ryan Goodwin, Sarah Goodwin, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.


He was preceded in death by and infant brother. Ronald received his education in Knox County Schools. He was employed as a Mechanic and a Truck Driver for several employers in the Knox City area. He enjoyed model cars, listening to older music, Antique Ford Cars, and spending time with his Dogs Frank and Fred.


Graveside services were held Monday, September 20, 2010, at the Knox City Cemetery in Knox City, Missouri. Reverend Mike Wilson officiated the services.

    We did not know Ronald by we do know his mother Julia and want to pass on our sympathies. We lost a loved one 8 yrs ago and she was there to support us. We are remembering you and all the family in our prayers.
