Frances Elaine Woodard, age 68, of Edina, Missouri, died Monday, August 23, 2010, at her home in Edina, Missouri.
She was born on March 6, 1942, at Pulaski, Iowa, the daughter of Franklin Harold and Georgia Helen Roberts White.
On February 21, 1960, she was united in marriage to Gerald E. (Jerry) Woodard at Brashear, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband Jerry of Edina, Missouri, one daughter, Rebecca Jane Woodard and husband Matthew Prchal, one sister-in-law, Barbara Shultz Ewalt of Baring, Missouri, two nieces, Annette Neagle and husband David of Rutledge, Missouri, Jan Doss and husband Wendell of Baring, Missouri, five great nieces and nephews, Amy and Brian Easley, Tyler Doss, Katie Doss and friend Bronson, Nickie Neagle and friend Corey, Matt Neagle and friend Dana, five cousins, three aunts and one uncle.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers-in-law, Eldon Shultz and John Ewalt, her parents-in-law, Robert and Mildred Woodard and a great nephew Michael Neagle.
Frances was loved by all who knew her. She was a graduate from Scotland County High School in 1959 and was secretary and bookkeeper for Knox County Stone for twenty-seven years. Frances was active in the Hurdland Fourth of July Celebration, enjoyed her ponies and spending time with her family and friends.
Memorial services were held 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri. Reverend Richard Hilton officiated the services.
