Forrest Wesley Lair, age 63, of LaBelle, Missouri, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, in the Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri.
He was born December 2, 1946, in Lewis County, Missouri, the son of James Gideon and Dorothy May Ketzell Lair.
He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, James and Richard Lair, and one sister, Barbara Meyer.
Surviving are his mother, Dorothy Lair of Canton, Missouri, one sister, Dorothy Kackley of Taylor, Missouri, two brothers, Don Lair and wife Pat of Plainville, IL, and Leslie Lair and wife Dariva of Quincy, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Forrest was raised in the Maywood and Durham area where he received his education. In his earlier years Forrest lived in Quincy, IL where he was employed at Smith Air Compressor. He also resided in Edina, MO and later LaBelle, MO.
Graveside services were held Friday, June 11, 2010, at the Durham Cemetery in Durham, MO. Reverend Joe Jorgensen officiated the services.
