Dema R. Vice

Dema
R. Vice, 83, of Donnellson passed away Tuesday April 13, 2010 at her daughter’s
home in Hillsboro, Missouri.

She
was born June 16, 1926 at Rutledge, Missouri the daughter of Claude &
Sylvia Cooper Parrish. On August 4, 1946 at Kahoka, Missouri she married Basil
Vice. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2000.

Survivors
include two daughters: Marsha (Jerry) Greenstreet of Hillsboro, Missouri, Debby
(John) Parrish of Palmyra, Missouri, one son Craig (Cheryl) Vice of Burlington,
Iowa and 6 grandchildren, Jeff(Audrey)Greenstreet, Dana(Galen)Robinson, Todd Parrish,
Tracy (Shawn Perry)Lewis, Jason Parrish and Jake (Alison)Vice.   Also surviving are 9 great grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.

Dema
was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one granddaughter, three sisters
and two brothers.

She
was of the Christian faith. She attended Donnellson Presbyterian and Zion
Mennonite Yoked Fellowship and in recent years St Andrews UMC in DeSoto,
MO.  Dema was a member of Presbyterian
Women’s Hope Circle. She served as a volunteer at the Donnellson Care Center.  She was also a member of the Green Acres
Ladies League during her active years. 
She was a long time Iowa Hawkeye and St Louis Cardinal fan.

Friends
may call Monday April 19, 2010 at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory
in Donnellson where the family will meet with friends from 1:00 P.M. until the  funeral service at 2:00 PM with Rev. Kendall
Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Wyaconda Cemetery in Wyaconda,
Missouri.

may be made to the American Cancer Society or St Andrews UMC.
