Mary Catherine Swearingen Holmes Gillum age 85 died at the Oaks of Clearwater Nursing Home, Clearwater, Florida on March 26, 2010.
She was the daughter of Perry and Mary Swearingen of Baring, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Ernest Edward Gillum. She is also survived by one step-son Buddy Ray Holmes of Madison, FL, twin daughters, Jean Clawson of Frankfort, KS and Jane Burkhead of Marysville, KS, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gillum resided in the Clearwater and Largo FL area since 1952. She and her husband Maurice Holmes were former owners of the Glowhite Painting Manufacturing Company of Clearwater and Tarpon Springs, FL. For several years operated the Nylo-tron Weather Coat Company of Edina, Missouri.
She was a member of the St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo, FL.
Burial will be in the St. Aloysius Cemetery in Baring, MO.
