Knox County R-1 Superintendent Of Schools Resigns

Knox County R-1 School District Superintendent D.J. Leverton, of rural Edina, has announced his resignation as the school’s superintendent.
The Knox County R-1 Superintendent’s Office confirmed this fact on Friday afternoon, March 19, 2010.
Leverton will finish the 2009-2010 school year at Knox County, but has accepted a position with another school district.
An application for superintendent of schools is available on the school’s website.
Superintendent Leverton was unavailable for comment at press time.
