National Vice Commander Visits Edina American Legion

On Monday afternoon, November the 9th, National Vice Commander of the American Legion, Jim Morris visited the Legion Hall in Edina. Cyril A. Graham of the American Legion Post No. 261 was to host the event.
Morris is an Army Veteran that served in Germany with the 97th Signal Group during the Vietnam War. Commander Morris has been a member of American Legion Post 97 in his hometown of Cardington, Ohio, for thirty-nine years, and has served as post and as department commander. Commander Morris has held national positions on the Distinguished Guests Committee and the Counter-Subversive Activities Committee. Most recently, he served as vice chairman of the public Relations Commission.
Morris is retired from HPM Manufacturing and is very active in his community, he is longtime Little League baseball coach, and he was a member of the Cardington Fire Department for seventeen years and the Cardington-Lincoln Board of Education.
Welcoming him to Edina were Lynn M. Dorrell, Missouri Senior Vice Commander, Ed Anderson, Edina Post 261 Adjutant, Irl Chandler, Missouri 1st District Commander, and Chalrey Goodin, Missouri Commander.
