She was born on April 25, 1928 in Wayland, Clark Co, MO., a daughter of
Nathan Kamuf and Altha Corinne Falkinburg Henshaw.  She married Alfred E.
Tammen in Hannibal, Missouri on 18 Nov 1946.  Margaret is survived by her
sister-in-law Katherine Elizabeth Wendell Henshaw, as well as cousins: Paul,
Louis, Wayne and Kenneth Linnenburger. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents,
and an only brother, Allen Scott Henshaw, and her ex-husband, Alfred E.

She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends in Wayland and Hull,
volunteering with her church family and writing stories. She loved rustic
things, country living, Whippoorwills at night and good Christian songs. She
always wanted a pretty car and a good permanent in her hair.

After several years of marriage in Illinois and Kansas,
Alfred and Margaret, along with Alfred’s mother moved to Downey,
California.  They began attending the
Downey Free Methodist Church and became involved with Azusa Pacific
University.  Soon after moving to
California, Margaret began working for Kanar, as a chemist.  She was a faithful and valued employee till
her retirement in 1992.

Besides Margaret’s deep love for the Lord, she enjoyed crocheting, making craft
items and selling them.   She often
participated in the Point Loma Auxiliary boutiques, selling her items, which in
turn supported students wanting a Christian education.  She was also involved in supporting student
scholarships at Azusa Pacific University.

A memorial service was held September 12, 2009 at the Anaheim Nazarene
Church in Anaheim, California and her remains were scattered in an area called
