Raydene Ballance, age 87, of Leonard, Missouri, died Thursday, September 17, 2009, at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, Missouri.
She was born November 25, 1912, in Kirksville, MO, the daughter of Charles Ray and Gladys Tully Davidson. On March 1, 1941, she was united in marriage to Billy Lee Ballance at Shelbina, MO. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1983.
Raydene is survived by her son; John Ballance and wife, Cindi of Quincy, IL; two grandchildren, Scott Ballance and wife, Heather, of Macon, MO, and Nikki Clark and husband, Greg, of Jacksonville, IL; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Emma Lee Miller, of Omaha, NE.
In addition to her husband, her parents and one brother, James Tully Davidson, preceded her in death.
Raydene was a member of the Leonard Christian Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial was Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Leonard Cemetery with the minister Jamie Frankie officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Leonard Cemetery or Leonard Community Club.
Services are under the direction of Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, MO.
