Carol Ann Moseley, BS, BAN, MS,
PhD, has retired after 15 years on the faculty of Blessing-Rieman College of
Nursing in Quincy and has been named the College’s first Professor
Married to the Rev. Donald
Moseley, the couple served the Kahoka Christian Church from 1989-2001. Their
grandson, Dakota Armstrong, is a senior at Clark County.
In addition to her career at
Blessing-Rieman, Dr. Moseley taught for 10 years at Lincoln Land Community
College in Springfield and was a bedside nurse at hospitals in Illinois,
Oklahoma and Nebraska for 11 years. At Blessing Hospital, she cared for
medical/surgical and maternity patients.
Dr. Moseley earned her
Doctorate in Nursing from Texas Women’s University, her Master of Science in
Nursing from Northern Illinois University, and her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing
from Sangamon State University. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in
Sociology and Religion from Phillip University and a diploma from St. Mary’s
School of Nursing, both in Enid, OK.
President of the Pi Pi Chapter
of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Dr. Moseley is
also President of the Quincy branch of the American Association of University
Women, the Theory Section Chair of the Midwest Nursing Research Society, and a
member of the American and Missouri Nursing Associations.
