Clark, died Friday, July 24th
in Mesa, AZ. Mary Lynn, the daughter of
Norman and Marilyn Roach was born on April 7, 1953 at Scott Field Air Force
Base, Belleville, IL. She grew up at
St. Patrick, MO. Mary graduated from
Clark County High School, Kahoka, MO; then graduated from Missouri University,
Rolla, MO receiving a degree in Environmental Management.
After moving to Lake Charles, LA, she
attended McNeese University, receiving her degree in Chemical Engineering;
while at the same time teaching a computer class at McNeese University. Mary married Dick Clark on June
18, 1982 in Lake Charles, LA. Dick and
Mary have lived in Arizona for the past 13 years and he survives.
Also surviving are two step-children: Tracy
(Ken) Gomeringer of Bellevue, Nebraska; Chris Clark of Greensboro, North
Carolina; four grandchildren: Hailey & Alex Gomeringer; Addison & Joey
Clark; her mother, Marilyn Roach; three
brothers: Jim Roach of St. Patrick, MO;
Hal (Tina) Roach of Bowling Green, MO; John Roach of Mooresville, IN; five
sisters: Sue Traw of Fort Collins, CO;
Lora (David) Phillips of Williamstown, MO; Kathy (Bobby) Neisen of Quincy, IL;
Joni (Dan) Sheldon of Denver, CO; Lisa (Jeff) Logsdon of Canton, MO; one brother-in-law,
Donald Clark of Lake Charles, LA; lots of nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death: her father, Norman Roach; mother-in-law,
Tillie Clark; father-in-law, Lucius Clark; brother-in-law, Jim Traw and her
Mary’s career has always
been in the Chemical Industry. She began
work in Lake Charles, LA at the Hercules Powder Co., then at Olin Corporation. Presently she was employed at the Fujifilm
Electronics Materials in Mesa.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 30, 2009 at
A Wise Choice Desert View Chapel, 9702 E. Apache Trail in Mesa, AZ. A Mass of Christian Burial and Interment
will be at the Shrine of St. Patrick, St. Patrick, MO. Time and date yet to be determined.
