Joshua Aaron Brown age 29 of Wasilla, Alaska a former resident of Lincoln, Illinois, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 as a result of a single vehicle accident in Wasilla, Alaska.
Joshua was born June 20, 1979 in Sedalia, MO the son of Franklin and Judy Schrage Brown.
He is survived by his father of Lincoln, IL; his mother of Wasilla, AL; two sisters, Jaclyn (Alex Kincade) Brown of St. Louis, MO and Janae Brown of Wasilla, AL; Maternal Grandfather, Lester Schrage of Edina, MO; Paternal Grandmother, Vesta Brown of Macon, MO; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Ruth Schrage and Paternal grandfather, Ronald Leon Brown.
Josh attended Calvary Temple School and Pleasant Plains High School graduating in 1998. He was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and St. Louis Cardinals. Josh loved to watch a close game. He was of the Christian faith. While living in Lincoln he worked at Saint Gobain Containers.
A Memorial service will be on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the United Methodist Church 200 S. Main St. in Edina, MO at 7:00 p.m., with Dr. Jeffery Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. at the church before the service. In honor of Josh the family would like everyone to wear your favorite Cardinals or Steelers apparel.
Memorials may be made to the Life Center Organ donation or Tony LaRussa’s ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation).
