Indians Pound North Shelby Raiders 71-36
The Clark County
Indians traveled to North Shelby last Tuesday, February 17, to take on the
North Shelby Raiders in the TRC finale for Clark County.
Michael Brennan scored 12 of his 20 points in the game
during the first quarter. The Indians
raced ahead to take a 29-10 first quarter.
Bryan Plenge added six points, Justin Oilar had five, and Ethan Allen
and Javis Vineyard each had two.
The Indians slowed the pace down in the second quarter,
scoring only 11. Allen had four more,
Lynn Williams and Michael Brennan had two each, and Justin Alderton had one,
and at the half, the Indians led 40-18.
Vineyard and Plenge led the Indians in the third with four
points each. Justin Alderton
contributed a three-pointer, and Michael Brennan picked up a bucket as the
Indians took a 53-29 lead.
Seven Indians scored in the final quarter. Lynn Williams scored four, Ethan Allen and
Ryan Whiston had three each, while Michael Brennan, Justin Alderton, Neal Moon
and Zach Nixon each had two.
Brennan led the Indians with 20, followed by Plenge with
12. Allen had nine, Williams, Vineyard
and Alderton each had six, and Oilar had five.
Whiston had three, while Moon and Nixon had two points each.
The Indians finished a perfect conference season to take the
Tri-Rivers Conference title.
