Marjorie J. Bagley, 94, of Fort Madison, IA, died on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 5:50 AM at the Ft. Madison Health Center.
She was born on May 15, 1914 in New York, New York to Edward and Mary Tamburo Shanahan. She was brought to Missouri on an orphan train at the age of one and adopted by Robert and Mary Roloff. On June 3, 1930 Marjorie married Eugene F. Bagley in Milan, MO. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2008. Marjorie was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Altar & Rosary Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Easley of Ft. Madison and Shirley Stevenson of Kansas City, MO; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Richard and one sister.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, Nov. 15th at 2 PM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Troy Richmond officiating. The family received friends from 1 PM until the time of service at 2 PM at the funeral home. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Ft. Madison on Monday, November 17, 2008.
