Eugene F. Bagley, 97, of Fort Madison, IA died on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 7:50 a.m. at the Ft. Madison Health Center.
He was born on September 5, 1911, in Brookfield, MO to Frank and Edna McCollum Bagley, On June 3, 1930 Eugene married Marjorie Roloff in Milan, MO.
He retired from Santa Fe Railroad as an Engineer. Eugene was a member of the United Transportation Union, National Assn. of Retired & Veterans Railway Employees and Senior Citizens Bowling League. He was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Bagley of Ft. Madison, IA; two daughters, Shirley Stevenson of Kansas City, MO and Barbara Easley of Ft. Madison, IA; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-five great, grandchildren; one niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one sister.
The funeral service was held on November 3, 2008 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Julia Easley officiating.
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery in Ft. Madison.
