Heavy Rains Cause Local Flooding In Knox County

Knox County did--up to eight inches Tuesday night, which caused flooding and closed roads.

 ROADS IMPASSIBLE DUE TO HIGH WATER – Area residents woke up Wednesday morning, June 25, 2008 to find that Mississippi River residents were not the only ones plagued with high water. Area creeks and rivers across Knox County were at high water levels by mid-morning from 2-8 inch continuous rains throughout the night.
