Rosalea Primm, age 87, of Edina, Missouri, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at the Knox County Nursing Home in Edina, Missouri.
She was born February 12, 1921 at Cuba, Illinois the daughter of William and Maude Henderson Taylor.
On March 23, 1940 at Kirksville, Missouri she was united in marriage to Leroy Theodore Primm and he preceded her in death on 2001.
Rosalea was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Kathy Lynn Primm and one son Jim Allen Primm, eight brothers and sisters.
Surviving are four children, Larry Primm and wife Beth of Novelty, Missouri, Jerry Primm and wife Barbara of River Falls, Wisconsin, Danny Primm and wife Barbara of Macon, Missouri, and Nancy Latimer of Mesa, Arizona, one sister, Ruby McCoy of Cuba, Illinois, 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rosalea was raised in Cuba, Illinois where she received her education graduating from Cuba High School.
She was a house wife and homemaker. Following her marriage she and her husband were engaged in farming in the Cuba, Illinois community until 1947 when they moved to a farm west of Baring, Missouri. In 1964 they moved to Edina to make their home. She worked for several years for DeRosears Flowers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and also enjoyed flowers.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2008, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri. The services will be officiated by Reverend Allen Davidson. Burial will be in the Linville Cemetery in Edina, Missouri.
Casket bearers will be her grandsons, Jerrin Primm, Andy Primm, Steve Primm, Chad Primm, Craig Primm, Brian Primm, Greg Primm, David Primm and Richard Latimer
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till time of services at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2008, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.
