GLENN E. SCARFF

Glenn Edward Scarff, age 86, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Physicians Regional Medical Center in Naples, Florida.
He was born in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, on February 27, 1922, son of Leslie Glenn and Freda May (Bates) Scarff.
On June 17, 1944, in Portland, Oregon, he was married to Delores Lorene Rich, who survives at the home. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He moved from Mount Pleasant to Colony, MO, in 1958, and then to Lake Ozark in 1968. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Osage Beach.
Other survivors include two daughters, Gloria Long and husband Joe of Belen, New Mexico, and Glenda Russell and husband Edmund of Ashdown, Arkansas; one son, Edward Allen Scarff and wife Barbara of Lake Ozark; two sisters, Evelyn Graber of Wooster, Ohio, and Bernice Callis of Marceline; eight grandchildren, Julie Tillerson, Jason See, Josh See, Jon See, Melinda Jewell, Allen Scarff, Belinda Bell, and Charles Bell; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond Scarff.
Services were held at the Riverview Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Phillips as officiate. Graveside services with military honors were Monday March 31, at Forest Home Cemetery in Mount Pleasant , Iowa.
