            Robert W. “Bobby” Campbell, 67, of Wayland, MO died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at his home.

          He was born February 5, 1941 in Basco, IL, the son of Ada Hayden and Howard “Shorty” Campbell.   

Bobby drove a semi across the United States for several years. He then worked for Steel Castings in Keokuk, IA retiring in 2007. Bobby was a United States Army veteran and proudly served his country during the Vietnam war from 1963-1965.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Bobby is survived by two aunts, Bessie Schreck and Annie Schreck both of Wayland, MO, many nieces and nephews including Robin Wood of Keokuk, IA, Michael Wood of Kahoka, MO, Sam Mitchell of Kahoka, MO and Stephanie Edgington of Mt. Pleasant, IA, great nieces and nephews and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Shirley Ann Thomas and Linda Lou Mitchell, and a nephew, James Wood and niece Sally Paar.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, Missouri. Burial will be in the Neeper Cemetery in Rural Kahoka, MO.

Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. Sunday with the family meeting with friends from 4 – 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
