Lady Indians JV Open With Win

On November 20 the Clark County Lady Indians JV opened with their season on the road at Palmyra.
In the opening quarter both teams were sizing each other up as both teams put up 6 points as Morgan Bertelli added 4.
In the second quarter the Lady Indians took the game over. Morgan Bertelli added a three, a basket and free throw.
Caitlyn Davis added 4 and Rachel Daw had 4 as the Lady Indians outscored Palmyra 14-4 to take a 10 point lead at halftime 20-10 behind Bertelli’s 10 points.
The third quarter again saw the Lady Indians take charge at both ends of the court. Kayla Buschling added 4, Caitlyn Davis had another 3, Chelsea Edmondson and Leighanne Moulder had 2 each and led going into the final quarter 32-19.
Bertelli and Davis left to go with the Varsity and Coach Logsdon emptied her bench and Palmyra outscored Clark 8-4 but the Lady Indians chalked up their first win of the season 36-27.
The Lady Indians were led by Morgan Bertelli with 11 points followed by Caitlyn Davis with 9, Kayla Buschling, Leighanne Moulder, Rachel Daw and Chelsea Edmondson each had 4 points. The Lady Indians next opponent will be December 1 at home against Canton at 10:00 a.m.
