Despite rumors circulating, there was no fight or arrests made on Friday night following the Clark County Homecoming game, according to Clark County Sheriff Roy Gilbert.
Authorities were concerned about a possible fight between individuals from Kahoka and Keokuk after previous incidents occurred, prompting extra security at the football game.
“A few kids from Iowa showed up in town, and we told them they needed to go back to Iowa,” Gilbert said.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Department is cooperating with the Keokuk Police Department of an incident that occured last week.
