Anna J. Keith
Anna Jane (Hardy) Keith, age 82, of Quincy, Illinois, formerly of Novelty, Missouri, died at the Good Samaritan Home in Quincy, Illinois.
She was born on November 23, 1924, in Novelty, Missouri, the daughter of Herman Henry and Vena Rimer Hardy.
On October 11, 1977, she was united in marriage to James L. Keith and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1988.
Mrs. Keith was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Tom F. Hardy and Joe B. Hardy.
Ann Jane was the last of her family. Surviving are two dear friends, Harold and Isabelle Hillerts of Quincy, Illinois.
Mrs. Keith attended schools in Novelty, Missouri. She was employed as a postal clerk that the Post Office in Novelty, Missouri, for twenty-six years, retiring in November 24, 1972.
Graveside services were held 10:30 a.m. Saturday September 29, 2007, at Novelty Cemetery in Novelty, Missouri. The Reverend Ivan Greuter officiated the services. Services were under the direction of the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.
