James H. Bachman
James Hershel Bachman, 86, of Macon, MO and formerly of Shelbina, MO died Thursday, September 6, 2007 at his home in Macon.
He was born March 31, 1921, at Baring, MO, the son of Leo and Edith Pruitt Bachman. On November 16, 1946, he was united in marriage to Louise Parsons at Shelbina, MO. She survives.
Hershel is also survived by one son, Gary Bachman and his wife Nancy of Epworth, MO; two daughters, Linda Renberg of Macon, MO and Kathy Snarr and her husband Dave of Macon, MO; nine grandchildren, Sandy Reger, Charlene Johnson, Darin Thrasher, LouRae Lee, Cody Brown, JoLyn Totten, Jim Jurado, Lauren Bachman and Jason Snarr; seventeen great grandchildren; one brother Harold Bachman of Novelty, MO and one sister, Virginia Hudson of Palmyra, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dennis Bachman and one sister, Louise Robertson.
Hershel was a member of the Woodville Baptist Church. he served in the United States Army during WWII. He enjoyed riding horses and especially spending time with his family and friends.
